Introduction

As we all know, different countries adopt different forms of healthcare. These forms of healthcare affect the quality of lives of citizens in their respective countries and have both advantages and disadvantages.
Singapore has a healthcare system which includes citizens having compulsory savings, letting patients choose different levels of subsidies depending on their income, and price control. Regardless, none of the services are free of charge. This is to reduce the overutilization of healthcare services as well as over-dependance on the government.
On the other hand, Britain’s healthcare is mainly provided by the NHS (National Health Service). It is essentially free, with exceptions such as private and personalised care. It provides a comprehensive service, regardless of their personal information, and enforces human rights to all.
